Judge Created Serious Risk of Actual Bias by Facebook “Friending” Litigant - Explains a recent decision from the Wisconsin Supreme Court holding, “that a judge violated a litigant’s due process rights by accepting a Facebook ‘friend’ request from a litigant in a pending child custody case.”

BigLaw firm’s legal tech subsidiary has launched a steady stream of COVID-19 tool - Collection of free tools for return to work policies and generating letters to request mortgage or eviction relief. 

LexisNexis Launches An All-New Premium Legal Research Service - A must-read for firms that are using LexisNexis.  The new service will provide easier search features, enhanced search results, include a brief analyzer and much more!

Commercial Docket Pilot Project expands to additional jurisdictions - "Commencing July 1, 2020, District 10, District 2, and Dane County will be jurisdictions included and commercial docket judges will be assigned to commercial docket cases. These regions are in addition to District 8 and Waukesha County, where commercial docket judges have been hearing cases since July 2017."

Trellis: The Google of State Court Analytics? - A new tool (with some free search capabilities) currently available for California courts that allows users to search state court data to obtain helpful guidance on how judges may rule in particular circumstances.
