WALA Welcomes NAMI (past community connection partner) to Present on Suicide Prevention

FREE Event for WALA Members and Guests

November 12th 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Description of QPR:
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR): the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a potential suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Learn myths, facts, resources, and how anyone can help prevent suicide.
