Are you interested in raising the bar on mental health training and awareness at your firm? A 2016 study found that between 21% and 36% of attorneys engage in problem drinking, while 28% experience some level of depression; 18% experience anxiety. In response to these and other findings, the ABA published the Well-Being Tool Kit for Lawyers and Employers in December 2018 to provide information and tools for improving well-being in the practice of law.

We are experiencing a well-being movement within the legal industry. This eight-hour Mental Health First Aid certification course will give you key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health challenge or experiencing a mental health crisis. Just as CPR training helps a person without medical training to assist an individual experiencing a heart attack. Mental Health First Aid helps a person assist someone experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.
